Restaurants

There are many in and around Mirepoix but here are a few of our favourites.  If you want help with reservations at all then please just ask.

Le Clos Saint Martin – This little gem is pretty close to us in Coutens, I absolutely love it, it has such a pretty garden to sit out and relax over lunch but also is very nice inside.  The food is fantastic and there is a good choice.  If I could eat here every week! Definitely book! 05 61 60 45 70

Saint Maurice – This is one of our favourite restaurants for lunch with the kids, it is very family friendly and a great spot next to the carrousel for the little ones. 05 61 68 25 81

Prelude – Great restaurant, serving food from local producers.  Inside it is bright and airy with a lovely feel to it and also a lovely shaded outside space with views over the square.  Portions are generous so make sure you’re hungry.  05 61 68 11 26

L'Autre Jardin – Tucked away this is a really lovely restaurant, it has a pretty private garden for dining and modern restaurant inside.  They serve a small menu but has never failed to impress us.  On a Friday if you fancy something different, they do a sushi menu which is delicious.  Booking here is a must!

Le Petit Bouchon – Nice restaurant both inside and out situated on the main square in Mirepoix.  The do a great burger here. 05 34 02 15 18

Le Casti – At lunchtime they have a small menu, but the food is very good, please note they don’t have much of a kid’s menu.  This place has a good atmosphere in the evening, the do great cocktails and serve a tapas, nice place to spend the evening people watching on the square.  05 34 03 32 06

La Flambée – We love Flambee, tucked away just off the square it is also often a favourite of our guests returning numerous times during their stay. It’s a typical little French restaurant inside, they are very reasonable and do a great menu de jour.  I really like the moules frites here, they also do a good range of pizza for both eating in and take away.  In the summer it is definitely worth booking a table as it is small inside, but they don’t have huge number of tables outside.

Relais de Mirepoix & No8 Restaurant & Bar - This a great restaurant for a special occasion, it actually very good value for its menu de jour at around 25 Euro a head.  Again, a very small menu but this has never disappointed.  The restaurant is beautiful and very spacious, they only do one cover at lunchtimes so it is a must to book in advance.  Both the food and service has always been excellent.
